It is so vital that students get the Word of God deep inside themselves. I believe that it makes up the fiber and fabric of our soul, and is the very core of our mental and emotional health. This week’s memory selection is the famous spiritual armour passage taken from the Book of Ephesians. Students must learn Ephesians 6:10-18.

Wednesday, April 18th will be a Service Day for Grades K-6. Our Grade 5/6 class will be visiting the Hampton Court Retirement Home. They will be singing, reciting a few Scriptures, and visiting with the elderly people. What a great opportunity to reach out beyond themselves!

Friday, April 20th will be a Pro-D day for the whole school. There will be no classes that day.

Wednesday, April 25th is Jeans Day for the B.C. Children’s hospital. Students are allowed to wear their jeans upon payment of $5.00 for the hospital.

All of the students in Grades 5 & 6 have collaborated together to assemble a special radio play presentation. The old time radio show has been entitled ‘The Adventures of Mouse Deer’. A full practice and performance schedule has been sent home with your child, and it is so important for each child to be present for each practice.
